REVIEW | The Perfect Facial - Elemis Skin Care

I visited a Spa for the first time this year and broke my back massage and facial virginity! This left with me a taste for more as I enjoyed the experience so much. The products the spa used for the facial were all Elemis products and I enjoyed the scent and feel of the products that much that I went on the hunt for a facial set by the brand of my own. I came across this miniatures set of amazing Elemis products. (Unfortunately, it was a one time offer and is no longer available though the full sized products are still available on www.feelyounique.com where I originally bought this set; I have linked these products for you below if you'd like to purchase any.)

Affordable Autumn Lipsticks

Autumn has finally arrived which means dark lips, thick scarves, hot drinks and snuggly blankets. It's one of my favourite seasons for make-up as I really love the effect of pairing up dark statement lips with golden warm eye shadow tones. So here are my top autumn lipsticks that I will be turning to this season that won't break the bank.

University: Avoiding My Mistakes

A lot of bloggers on my twitter feed have been tweeting about starting a new adventure by going off to university (yay! congrats!) or returning students are making their way back over the course of this month. I went to uni and did first year 3 times! Not because I failed, but because I struggled with mental health at the time which ultimately led to me quitting and deciding uni isn't for me. But because I experienced first year 3 times, I feel as though I have a lot of insight for you new starters and here are a few pointers to bare in mind throughout your first year.

A Guide: The Perfect Lip

Every girl I know loves to have an extensive lip colour selection but struggle to achieve lasting colour on the lips all day. Follow my easy pointers below in order to improve the lasting finish and obtain smoother and more luxurious lips.

Why British Getaways Are Great

For those of you that do not have a large budget, British escapes away may be the only chance for you to take a break from your busy and hectic day to day life. I love exploring different cities, the vast amounts of countryside and history-rich Britain and thought I'd make a list (who doesn't love a good list) as to why you should too.

August Favourites

It's September already! It feels like it was 5 minutes ago since it was New Years Day. I can't believe how quickly this year is zooming past. The summer is over but not quite over for me as I'm escaping at the end of September for some Autumn sun somewhere in the med. Charlie and I have decided to book a last minute holiday which we plan on booking this weekend so very exciting!

Over the past month I've made some great purchases that I would highly recommend to you all, some are long time favourites and some are new. So here's what I've been loving over the past month...

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I thought it was about time I introduced a 'recommended monthly reads' on my blog as I tend to read quite a lot and thought that you might like some book inspo. I tend to find new books to read via other bloggers so I thought I would share what I've been loving recently too.

10 Reasons Why I Love Your Blog

There are certain blogs I will return to time and time again due to many differing reasons. I don't leave comments as much as I'd like as it's pretty hard work juggling my own blog, a full time job, reading other blogs and juggling everything else life has to offer! But trust me, I have my favourites and these are the reasons why...

Rose gold has taken the female world by storm. We love the stuff! So this Zoeva make-up brush collection is very eye-appealing. Not only do you get 8 brushes for £65.00, they all come in a pretty rose gold clutch bag to house them when you’re travelling around. The bag has extra space to put in the rest of your favourite brushes for travelling too.

Five Favourites in Venice (Venice III)

If you read my blog often, then you will know I visited Venice for my birthday 2 months ago. It was my first holiday away with my boyfriend Charlie and we had a fantastic time. It was wonderfully romantic. You can find a foodie related post on our trip here and a look book post here. We did the touristy thing and visited as much as we could in the short space of time that we were there. We managed to get everything done that we prioritised which meant some very sore feet at the end of each day. I recommend booking a hotel with a bath as you need it after a long day wondering around! Here are my top five favourite things we did whilst we were in Venice.

I am currently 23 years old and still working out how to life. So for those of you that haven't quite reached your twenties here's what to expect and for those of you who have experienced your twenties I'm sure you can relate...

How Much Is My Face Worth? (Day)

Hello, I hope you're having a wonderful day. I decided to write this post as I have really been enjoying reading the 'How Much Is My Face Worth?' posts lately so it got me thinking just how much do the products I use on a daily basis add up to? I challenge any of you reading this to do the same and let me know how much your face costs in the comments below and with a link to the post if you have one. I have linked every product I use to a site that sells it if you are interested in purchasing any of these products for yourself too. So here goes...

Inside My Bullet Journal

Hello Everyone! As you are probably aware Bullet Journals have become MASSIVE in the blogging world at the moment. I am seeing pictures and posts on them everywhere. I absolutely loved the idea so I got my creative gene on one day and created my very own. I decided to write a post on it to give you guys some ideas and inspiration. The idea originated here on the official Bullet Journal website.

My job seeking advice to you...

I scroll through my Twitter feed daily and I will always come across a post about trying to find a job (or not finding one!). I found a job through persistence and seriously intensive searching around 8 months ago which made me feel great and really accomplished. So I thought I'd share my tips on how to find a job with you all. I'll be writing another post on interview tips as a part II to this post. I hope this helps and gets you feeling motivated!

Pizza, Pasta & Pesce in Venezia (Venice II)

As you may already be aware if you follow me on social media, Charlie and I visited Venice for my birthday in mid April, you can find part I of my Venice posts here which will tell you more about our trip. Now, this post is all about FOOD. Italian food. Need I say more?!

Scrumptious Breakfast Smoothie

First of all, I have to give credit where it's due to Tanya Burr as this recipe was inspired by her smoothie 'Simba' from her book - Love Tanya. I have found myself making this smoothie over and over again with different twists on it so I thought I would share it with you all.

Look Book of Venice (Venice I)

Travel Essentials

Every time I travel I make a list of everything I need to pack/last minute things I still need to use but must remember to pack. If I forgot any of my essentials it would throw me off as these are the things that help to keep me relaxed and happy whilst I am away.

REVIEW | The Steamhouse | Royal Leamington Spa

There’s a new Brunch place on the block. The Steamhouse in Royal Leamington Spa. It’s been open for a couple of weeks and it’s that new its website hasn’t even been launched yet - http://steamhousecoffee.co.uk/. And I’m telling you, we need to watch this space as they have thought of a niche that will be going places.

March '16 Favourites

I am so excited spring is finally here! Beauty wise, it's time to splash out on the pinks and bright lips which I cannot wait to start wearing. March was a good month, I got recognised at work which felt really great as all my hard work is starting to pay off. Also March was the month I decided to throw myself back in to blogging and boy I'm glad I did. I forgot how much fun this is! So here's what I've been loving over the past month...

REVIEW | The Cosy Club | Coventry

If you're like me and you love finding somewhere a bit different when it comes to dining out then The Cosy Club franchise is a must. It offers an eccentric yet homey atmosphere with lavish paintings and bits and bobs covering the walls, quirky lighting and snug sofas to lounge in and have a cocktail or few.

Journal Keeping

A journal is an invaluable mirror offering you a true reflection of your personal growth and development. The blank pages of our journals can offer us a place to express our inner most feelings when we are feeling lonely with no one to talk to or listen to us. Writing a journal is an excellent tool to help raise your self-awareness.

Spring and Little Lambs

It’s finally spring! Spring is my favourite season, not only is it my birthday in spring, I always look forward to the warmer sunny days, the beautiful green grass and yellow daffodils that begin to bloom. Plus it’s Easter soon which means… CHOCOLATE! And family time of course, plus a bank holiday to get lots of blogging work done!
