Scrumptious Breakfast Smoothie

First of all, I have to give credit where it's due to Tanya Burr as this recipe was inspired by her smoothie 'Simba' from her book - Love Tanya. I have found myself making this smoothie over and over again with different twists on it so I thought I would share it with you all.

What you will need:
A handful of strawberries
1 apple
A large slice of watermelon
A glug of almond/coconut milk or even a tasty yoghurt
& a food blender.

So, first of all, you need to chop up all of your fruit - no way in particularly as once you've done that, throw all of the ingredients into a food processor.

Blitz until smooth and creamy in texture. Mix the smoothie up a bit with different fruits, juices, milks or yoghurts. The texture of this smoothie is lovely as the water melon makes it a bit different.

Pour into a cute cup or glass, add a strawberry and a straw and hey presto - you're done. It's as simple as that. Impress your guests with this really easy and yummy recipe at breakfast time.

  1. This sounds super delicious! I'm hopeless at making smoothies so I'll leave that down to someone else but this one looks great. x

    1. Thanks Kat :) A simple one like this isn't tricky. You've just got to have the equipment too!

My nutri-bullet is quite pricey but I also have a blend active which is lower priced and still really good.
