REVIEW | The Perfect Facial - Elemis Skin Care

I visited a Spa for the first time this year and broke my back massage and facial virginity! This left with me a taste for more as I enjoyed the experience so much. The products the spa used for the facial were all Elemis products and I enjoyed the scent and feel of the products that much that I went on the hunt for a facial set by the brand of my own. I came across this miniatures set of amazing Elemis products. (Unfortunately, it was a one time offer and is no longer available though the full sized products are still available on where I originally bought this set; I have linked these products for you below if you'd like to purchase any.)

Elemis do not test on animals so the products are completely cruelty free. This range targets anti-ageing and skincare. I have always been told that despite your age, you should be using anti-ageing products because the earlier you start the longer you are looking after your skin and preventing the signs of ageing.

50ml Papaya Enzyme Peel - Smooth Cream Exfoliator (anti-ageing)  £32.00

The face peel is one of my favourite products from the set as it is made with pineapple and papaya which smell delicious. The fruit enzymes gently exfoliate and purify tired or sensitive skin. The product is also enriched with Vitamin E, Bladderwrack and Porphyridium which help to remineralise and condition the skin whilst providing anti-oxidant protection.

150ml Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser (anti-ageing) £30.00

This cleanser is fantastic. It is formulated with skin protecting Moringa Seed Peptide, balancing Great Burdock, Noni and Assai Fruit which are known for high levels of anti-oxidants. The product is to be left on the face for one minuet, allowing it to dissolve grime and make-up gently, revealing a radiant and youthful looking complexion.

200 ml Balancing Lavender Toner (skincare) £22.50

Another one of my favourite products from the set as I absolutely love the smell of Lavender. I find the scent very soothing and relaxing. This gentle balancing lavender toner effectively tones the skin and re-balances the pH level, without the use of alcohol or harsh detergents which can strip the skins natural oils. Extracts of Lavender, Quillaja Wood and Sweet Betty Flower help to balance and soften the skin, leaving a fresh and clear complexion.

Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss 60 Capsules (anti-ageing) £60.00

I had never used anything like this product before but really liked the capsules. They are formulated with the optimum level of anti-oxidant power to improve the visible signs of ageing and counteract the damaging effects of everyday pollution. They are to be used twice daily, one during your morning routine and one for your nightly routine. The morning oil is rose scented and the night oil is lavender scented.

50ml Hydra-Boost Day Cream - (skincare) £39.00

This is the best day cream I have ever tried and I will be continuing to buy this. I reach for this product more than the rest and a little of it goes a long way so the price is definitely worth it. This ultra-nourishing day cream provides continuous hydration and helps to comfort normal to dry skin. Hylauric acid locks in essential moisture. Marsh samphire extract and starflower oil help strengthen the skins natural moisture barrier whilst organic myrtle and vitamin E help protect from damaging free radicals. My skin is left feeling intensely moisturised, smooth and supple.

I would recommend these Elemis products to anyone that has normal-dry skin and if you suffer with oily skin then to check out their website as the products I have tried are excellent. They are a leading spa brand and are really worth the price. Their slogan is 'Defined by nature, led by science' which defines the brand perfectly being cruelty free and natural. So if you haven't already tried the brand Elemis go and try it!

Have you ever tried Elemis any other Elemis products before? If so I would love to know your recommendations. Alternatively, I'm always on the hunt for new facial products so if you've used  brand that are really great I'd love to know too.

Love Amber xx
